Java Developer (CoreMedia)

Salary: 80,000 – 90,000 PHP

We are looking for a Coremedia Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As Java Developer you will be designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications using Java, with a primary focus on CoreMedia CMS, ensuring seamless digital content management; 
  • You will be implementing CoreMedia Studio customizations and extensions to support business requirements, enhancing the CMS’s functionality to meet user needs;   
  • You will be developing and integrating Java-based APIs for content delivery and digital experience platforms, ensuring smooth and scalable integration with other enterprise systems;   
  • You will be contributing to software architecture planning, ensuring alignment with business goals, performance standards, and best practices in Java development;   
  • You will be conducting code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and following best practices, maintaining high-quality code and ensuring team collaboration; 
  • You will be collaborating with project managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to ensure a seamless integration of CoreMedia CMS with the overall application ecosystem; 
  • You will be identifying and resolving issues in the codebase, optimizing application performance, and ensuring scalability for high-traffic environments; 
  • You will be verifying code for defects prior to QA release, ensuring that all functionalities work smoothly before deployment; 
  • You will be troubleshooting and resolving defects identified by QA teams and end-users, maintaining system stability and user satisfaction; 
  • You will be maintaining comprehensive documentation for CoreMedia integrations, workflows, and custom developments, ensuring clarity for future reference and collaboration. 

Requirement

  • 3+ years of experience in Java development, preferably with hands-on exposure to CoreMedia CMS; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;  
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS), particularly CoreMedia, showcasing an understanding of its architecture and functionality;  
  • Proven ability to integrate Java applications with front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring smooth communication between various components;   
  • Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks, including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA, enabling the development of robust enterprise applications;  
  • Experience working with CoreMedia CMS, including CoreMedia Studio Customizations and Content Applications, ensuring seamless workflow within content-driven platforms;   
  • Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval;   
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Docker, optimizing development and release processes;   
  • Experience working with cloud services, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, ensuring compatibility with cloud-based infrastructure. 

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of TypeScript, enabling potential contributions to front-end development when needed; 
  • Understanding of front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, enhancing collaboration with UI/UX teams and front-end developers. 

We Offer

  • Salary for work amounting to 80,000 – 90,000 PHP;
