We are looking for a Junior Accountant specialist for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As a Junior Accountant, you will be preparing journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial records;
- You will be assisting in reviewing closing transactions for assigned entities, supporting the Senior Accountant in finalizing the accounts;
- You will be assisting the local business unit in preparing the annual budget and consolidating preliminary quarterly Profit & Loss estimates;
- You will be validating the details of the annual budget and quarterly estimates provided by the entities to ensure accuracy and completeness;
- You will be updating and publishing Estimate and Actual Financial Statements Reports, performing variance and deviation analysis;
- You will be gathering, preparing, and analyzing financial information and reports as requested by business users, providing key insights;
- You will be monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analyzing the causes of unexpected variances;
- You will be gathering information for the monthly Balanced Scorecard, such as customer feedback and tracking the timeliness of reporting requirements;
- You will be conducting self-evaluations through the E-talent process to ensure continuous improvement;
- You will be supporting external audit requirements, providing detailed schedules and analyses requested by auditors and local finance teams.
Requirement
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting-related position, showcasing a solid understanding of financial processes;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Experience with Oracle Financials (AP/AR/GL modules), ensuring familiarity with key financial management software;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong focus on Excel for data analysis and reporting;
- Advanced skills with Excel spreadsheets and Google Applications, enabling efficient data handling and collaboration;
- Ability to work under pressure and multitasking person;
- Experience in a Shared Services environment or within a multinational organization, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex operational structures.
