Responsibilities

• As Junior Manual QA you will be understanding and complying with the defined and agreed Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization;
• You will be understanding various approaches used in testing such as System, Integration and Regression;
• You will be collaborating with the team to provide test effort estimation for small and medium size projects;
• You will be writing Test Cases and Test Scripts and creates Test Data;
• You will be performing the activities necessary to execute tests in accordance with the test plan and test design;
• You will be executing the given test cases/test scripts;
• You will be identifying the correct behavior of the system under test;
• You will be replicating and reporting uncovered defects;
• You will be executing functional, application and regression tests for software releases;
• You will be writing clear and precise defect reports as required for identified software defects and functional defects based on testing results;
• You will be facilitating effective team interaction adhering to the values of the company and meeting the objectives;
• You will be contributing to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and guidelines;
• You will be recording activities in ATLAS and reports/elevates issues to superior;
• You will be conducting needed validation to ensure compliance to the procedures in CMMI.

Requirement

• 1+ year experience in Quality Assurance or testing;
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
• Experience in writing test cases and test scripts;
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle – Waterfall and Agile;
• Knowledge of QA testing tools, different test design techniques, standards and process;
• Analytical skills;
• Detail oriented and good time management skills.
