We are looking for an L2 Application Support for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As an Application Support Specialist, you will be performing antivirus and encryption management tasks, ensuring the security and integrity of organizational data;
- You will be maintaining current knowledge of available patches, staying updated on critical updates to address vulnerabilities and improve system performance;
- You will be ensuring proper installation of patches, verifying their effectiveness and resolving any issues that arise during deployment;
- You will be testing new product releases to ensure compatibility with existing systems and minimize disruptions to users;
- You will be troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions, collaborating with vendors and third-party support teams to address technical problems within the applicable technology platform;
- You will be recommending and implementing system enhancements, improving performance and reliability, especially in upgrading and patching processes;
- You will be developing and documenting technical processes and procedures, creating comprehensive guidelines to support smooth operations and knowledge sharing;
- You will be compiling KPI reports at agreed intervals, providing insights into system performance and support activities;
- You will be reporting on administration and project progress, delivering updates to the ISS Team Leader, Delivery Manager, and Infrastructure Head.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in system administration and troubleshooting, demonstrating a strong foundation in managing and maintaining IT systems;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Experience with O365, showcasing proficiency in managing and supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications;
- Experience with scripting languages, enabling automation and customization of IT processes;
- Experience in managing disk encryption using BitLocker, ensuring data protection across the organization;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for threat protection, with the ability to configure and manage this tool to safeguard systems;
- Experience in managing updates and patches for operating systems and applications, particularly with tools like Modern Desktop, Intune, SSCM, WSUS, Ivanti, and BigFix;
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS, demonstrating versatility in managing cloud-based environments;
- Experience in administering Windows and RedHat servers, showcasing your ability to manage diverse server environments;
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system at an administrative level, ensuring efficient system management;
- Understanding of virtualization technologies, enabling effective use of resources through virtualized environments;
- Experience working with Dell and Cisco UCS servers, ensuring smooth server operations and hardware management;
- Familiarity with data storage solutions, supporting effective storage management and retrieval;
- Experience in managing backups and data recovery, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of failures;
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring tools, supporting proactive identification and resolution of system issues;
- Experience working with ticketing systems, ensuring efficient tracking and resolution of IT support requests.
We Offer
- Salary for work amounting to 60,000 – 70,000 PHP;
