Wintel Technical Lead

Salary: 90,000 – 100,000 PHP

We are looking for a Wintel Technical Lead for our French client, who specializes with the production of various types of glasses as well as cooperation with opticians. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As Wintel Technical Lead you will be leading the administration and lifecycle management of Windows Server environments, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance across all supported systems; 
  • You will be overseeing virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, managing capacity, performance, and availability to support business-critical workloads;  
  • You will be ensuring full compliance with patching schedules, security baselines, and configuration standards, maintaining a safe and well-governed infrastructure; 
  • You will be managing hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments; 
  • You will be leading cloud migration initiatives, aligning migration plans with business continuity needs, risk management, and security requirements;  
  • You will be implementing cloud governance, cost optimization, and automation strategies, improving efficiency and reducing operational overhead; 
  • You will be designing and managing enterprise storage solutions, ensuring reliable data availability and long-term scalability; 
  • You will be monitoring storage performance, capacity, and overall system health, taking proactive action to prevent downtime or degradation; 
  • You will be leading enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring organizational resilience through tested, reliable recovery procedures; 
  • You will be conducting regular DR drills, validating procedures and ensuring operational readiness across the entire environment; 
  • You will be providing leadership to a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with organizational goals; 
  • You will be developing and maintaining documentation, SOPs, and training materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team. 

Requirement

  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, ensuring a mature understanding of enterprise environments and complex system integrations; 
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, demonstrating your ability to guide teams, make technical decisions, and ensure operational excellence; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH)  – Necessary condition; 
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms, enabling you to maintain and optimize the core infrastructure foundation; 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms – Azure, AWS, or GCP – ensuring you can manage hybrid environments and support modern cloud-driven initiatives; 
  • Basic Linux administration skills, allowing you to manage interoperability in mixed-OS environments; 
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, ensuring effective lifecycle management and security compliance; 
  • Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, enabling efficient handling of large-scale virtualization infrastructures; 
  • Practical experience with Azure Active Directory – MS Entra ID – and ADFS concepts, essential for securing authentication and identity management; 
  • Hands-on experience manipulating custom security attributes, supporting advanced identity and access control scenarios; 
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, ensuring automation, consistency, and infrastructure-as-code practices; 
  • Experience in DevOps environments, allowing effective collaboration with development teams and supporting modern delivery pipelines; 
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework, ensuring structured incident, problem, and change management processes; 
  • Proficiency in enterprise storage and backup technologies, ensuring data protection and recovery readiness; 
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, or cloud credentials, demonstrating validated expertise and professional commitment; 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, ensuring clear interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Nice to have

  • Experience with scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell or Ansible, allowing you to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve system reliability. 

We Offer

  • Salary for work amounting to 90,000 – 100,000 PHP;
