Responsibilities

• As a Shopify Developer, you will be developing and maintaining our client’s storefront, ensuring high performance and responsive applications on desktop and mobile devices; 
• You will be designing and creating custom Shopify themes tailored to the unique branding and business needs of each client, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal;  
• You will be implementing SEO strategies directly within the Shopify framework to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic;  
• You will be collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams to align eCommerce features with business goals and support promotional initiatives;  
• You will be executing all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance;  
• You will be working with UX and UI designers to transform technical requirements and creative concepts into intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces;  
• You will be troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Shopify development, third-party integrations, and eCommerce tools such as Trusted Shops, Instagram feeds, and product quizzes; 
• You will be optimizing websites for conversions, enhancing user experience, and ensuring smooth navigation, load speed, and checkout performance; 
• You will be keeping up to date with emerging technologies, development trends, and best practices in Shopify and web development to apply the latest innovations; 
• You will be documenting development processes, creating technical guides, and maintaining user-friendly documentation for future reference; 
• You will be developing reusable components and libraries to accelerate development and promote consistency across future projects. 

Requirement

• 4+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer, with a proven track record of delivering functional and visually appealing eCommerce solutions; 
• Expertise in DOM manipulation, CSS3, and HTML5, enabling pixel-perfect implementation and responsive design capabilities; 
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, including jQuery, vanilla JavaScript, and modern frameworks, to support interactivity and client-side logic; 
• Practical experience with Shopify’s Liquid templating language and theming system, allowing for customized design and dynamic content rendering; 
• Hands-on experience with performance optimization techniques, website security, and backup strategy implementation; 
• Familiarity with integrating third-party tools such as Trusted Shops, social media feeds, product quizzes, and marketing apps into Shopify stores; 
• Solid understanding of responsive web design, ensuring seamless browsing across various screen sizes and devices;  
• Good grasp of technical SEO best practices, including schema markup, structured data, and SEO-optimized code; 
• Experience managing multilingual content and configuring subdomains for SEO-friendly internationalization strategies; 
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement conversion-optimized components such as upsell-enabled carts, testimonial blocks, and product recommendation sections; 
• Experience collaborating on UX and UI design processes to create user-friendly and visually compelling interfaces; 
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code review; 
• Experience working with Google Search Console to monitor website performance, resolve indexing issues, and manage search visibility; 
• Knowledge of creating and managing HTML and XML sitemaps to improve crawlability; 
• Comprehensive understanding of web development strategies, from backend integration to frontend optimization;  
• Basic understanding of server-side technologies to support full-stack collaboration and integration; 
• Experience integrating third-party services, including APIs and embedded tools, within the Shopify ecosystem;  
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in fast-paced eCommerce environments;  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing clear collaboration with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders;  
• Creative mindset and the ability to approach challenges with innovative, practical solutions; 
• Effective team player with a collaborative approach and a focus on shared success.

• Salary for work amounting to 70,000 – 110,000 PHP;
