L2 Wintel Specialist

Salary: 80,000 – 90,000 PHP

We are looking for a L2 Wintel Specialist for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As a L2 Wintel Specialist, you will be working under the directives of Tech Services & IT Security to support, implement, monitor, and administer the ISS infrastructure and related services, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations; 
  • You will be serving as the second level of technical support for infrastructure services, handling escalated issues and assisting in incident resolution within Tech Services & IT Security scope;  
  • You will be ensuring that all system and service administration tasks are performed in accordance with established ISS procedures, promoting compliance and operational consistency;  
  • You will be troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions in collaboration with vendors and third-party support teams, aiming for timely and effective resolution;  
  • You will be supporting and managing the Local IT inventory, performing device maintenance, and handling administrative tasks related to IT assets and equipment;  
  • You will be complying with ITSM lifecycle processes and proactively adhering to SLA standards, contributing to service quality and accountability;  
  • You will be ensuring infrastructure stability, optimized response times, operational reliability, and complete lifecycle management across all system platforms; 
  • You will be participating in infrastructure and IT-related projects, contributing technical insights and serving as a liaison between your department and other stakeholders; 
  • You will be providing regular updates on infrastructure administration activities and project progress to the Tech Services & IT Security Team Leader and Service Delivery Manager; 
  • You will be maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation for operational procedures, service workflows, and pre-production activities; 
  • You will be following prescribed training plans and schedules, ensuring all mandatory trainings are completed and kept up to date to remain compliant with internal standards. 

Requirement

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working as an L2 Wintel Specialist, with proven skills in technical troubleshooting, administration, and infrastructure support; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS), supporting cloud-native infrastructure management; 
  • Proven experience in system administration within Windows Server operating systems, including configuration, updates, and performance monitoring;  
  • Foundational knowledge of IT security principles and antivirus software management to ensure system protection and threat mitigation; 
  • Understanding of patch management processes, including deployment, compliance tracking, and rollback procedures; 
  • Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM frameworks, promoting structured incident, change, and problem management;  
  • Experience using scheduling software tools to automate and manage recurring infrastructure tasks and updates; 
  • Competency with monitoring tools and platforms to observe system performance, detect anomalies, and ensure service availability;  
  • Basic understanding of database management and administration to support backend diagnostics and system integrations;  
  • Knowledge of backup and storage administration, including familiarity with enterprise solutions used for data protection and recovery;  
  • Experience managing virtualized environments using VMWare or Hyper-V, supporting scalable and efficient infrastructure provisioning; 
  • Hands-on experience with system administration in Unix or Linux environments, enabling flexibility across operating systems and platforms.

  • Salary for work amounting to 80,000 – 90,000 PHP;
