Salary: 20,000 – 25,000 PHP
We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As a Junior Backend Developer you will be assisting in writing, testing, and debugging backend code following provided specifications and guidelines, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and maintainability;
- You will be performing unit testing on basic components, identifying errors and reporting findings to senior developers, supporting a structured defect resolution process;
- You will be documenting code logic, test results, and technical updates, ensuring proper traceability and knowledge transfer for future maintenance;
- You will be supporting the implementation of small tasks within larger software projects, contributing incrementally to deliverables and learning best practices from senior team members;
- You will be collaborating with the development team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor software issues, gaining hands-on experience in problem-solving;
- You will be participating in training sessions and technical discussions, enhancing your programming knowledge and strengthening your understanding of backend development principles.
Requirement
- Any practical experience in programming or software development with .NET – Internships or academic projects are acceptable;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git), including committing and branching;
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail when identifying and resolving issues;
- Willingness to learn and adopt coding best practices, demonstrating openness to feedback and continuous improvement;
- Good communication and teamwork skills, supporting effective collaboration with peers and senior developers.

- Salary for work amounting to 20,000 – 25,000 PHP;
- Monthly transportation allowance of ₱4,000;
- ₱3,600 monthly de minimis non-taxable allowance;
