We are looking for a QA Lead for our multinational client, who specializes in developing marketplaces and systems aimed at lowering the costs of IT products. They emphasize transparency, price comparison, and real-time delivery options.
This project is a 6-month engagement, with a possibility of extension for an additional 6 months or potentially longer, depending on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities
- As QA Lead you will be designing, developing, and maintaining automated UI tests using tools such as Playwright or Selenium, ensuring reliable coverage of core user flows and early detection of regressions;
- You will be documenting, executing, and maintaining manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and repeatability across test scenarios;
- You will be collaborating closely with developers and product owners to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure quality is addressed early in the development lifecycle;
- You will be documenting and reporting test results clearly and efficiently, providing actionable insights for development teams and ensuring transparency in quality status;
- You will be participating in sprint planning activities, offering input on test coverage, identifying risk areas, and helping estimate the testing efforts required for each feature.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT testing, ensuring a strong foundation across testing methodologies, tools, and quality processes;
- Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright or Selenium, enabling you to build and maintain reliable automated test suites;
- Familiarity with languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python, allowing you to write clear and maintainable automated tests;
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git, ensuring consistent collaboration, branching discipline, and clean code management;
- Solid knowledge of web technologies, including HTML and CSS, with a strong understanding of browser behavior, rendering patterns, and UI interactions;
- Experience with API testing tools, such as Postman or REST Assured, allowing you to validate backend services, integrations, and end-to-end workflows;
- Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage and alignment with business and technical requirements;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, supporting accurate identification, replication, and reporting of software defects;
- Experience using bug tracking platforms, including Azure DevOps or Jira, ensuring structured documentation and efficient communication with development teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, enabling you to assess system stability, responsiveness, and behavior under load;
- Formal software testing training, such as an ISTQB certification, demonstrating structured knowledge of testing principles, techniques, and quality standards;
- Background in e-commerce or B2B platforms, providing valuable insights into complex workflows, user journeys, and high-scale transactional systems;
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the ability to integrate automated tests into continuous delivery workflows, ensuring faster, safer, and more reliable releases;
- Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-device testing, helping ensure consistent user experiences across diverse environments and platforms.
