Backend Developer (.NET)

Salary: 55,000 – 65,000 PHP

We are looking for a Backend Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As a Backend Developer you will be developing and enhancing backend services for new regions, ensuring that business logic, integrations, and data handling fully align with frontend requirements and regional needs; 
  • You will be building and maintaining APIs that support frontend functionality, focusing on secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange between systems;  
  • You will be optimizing SQL queries and performing database indexing, improving performance, scalability, and response times across PostgreSQL-based solutions;  
  • You will be designing, building, and maintaining clean, efficient, and reusable .NET code, following established coding standards and best practices;  
  • You will be reviewing your work for defects before releasing it to QA, ensuring high-quality deliveries and minimizing rework during the testing phase;  
  • You will be submitting pull requests, handling code merges, and supporting software releases, collaborating closely with the team to maintain a smooth development and deployment workflow; 
  • You will be troubleshooting and taking ownership of defects identified by the QA team or reported by customers, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication; 
  • You will be contributing to a culture of team excellence, promoting openness, transparency, close collaboration, and continuous learning within the team; 
  • You will be providing regular progress updates to customers, ensuring visibility into the status of ongoing initiatives and delivered improvements; 
  • You will be maintaining and updating daily monitoring of service deliverables, supporting operational stability and consistent service quality. 

Requirement

  • 2+ years of experience in backend development, with hands-on work in .NET and PostgreSQL, enabling you to build and maintain reliable server-side solutions; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Experience with RESTful API design and documentation, allowing you to create well-structured and maintainable service interfaces; 
  • Familiarity with Azure Functions or similar cloud-based serverless solutions, supporting scalable and event-driven backend architectures; 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling you to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure solution quality;  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, supporting effective collaboration with developers, QA, and stakeholders; 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, ensuring steady progress across parallel development activities. 

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with GraphQL, enabling more flexible and efficient data querying for frontend applications; 
  • Knowledge of Coremedia CMS or similar content management systems, supporting backend integrations with content-driven platforms. 

We Offer

  • Salary for work amounting to 55,000 – 65,000 PHP;
