Responsibilities

• As Application Architect you will be leading the review and evolution of application and service architectures, ensuring alignment with long-term business and technology strategies; 
• You will be reviewing and validating solution designs across engineering teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of applications; 
• You will be defining architectural standards, blueprints, and modernization pathways, guiding teams toward consistent and future-ready solutions; 
• You will be serving as the technical escalation point for complex application and integration issues, ensuring effective resolution of critical challenges; 
• You will be driving improvements in observability, automated fault detection, incident prevention, and root cause analysis, enhancing system resilience and stability;  
• You will be planning and coordinating application migration and modernization programs, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations; 
• You will be identifying architectural risks, defining mitigation strategies, and ensuring controlled and well-governed execution of initiatives; 
• You will be conducting deep-dive architecture reviews, technical assessments, and design walkthroughs, ensuring high-quality and well-structured solutions; 
• You will be promoting best practices in application design, resilience engineering, documentation, and operational excellence across teams; 
• You will be tracking progress, removing blockers, and ensuring successful delivery of migration waves and transformation initiatives. 

Requirement

• 5+ years of experience in Application Architecture, ensuring strong expertise in designing and evolving enterprise-level systems; 
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
• Experience designing modern application architectures, enabling scalable and maintainable system design; 
• Experience with Java, enabling development and support of backend services; 
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js or Next.js, enabling collaboration across fullstack environments; 
• Exposure to application modernization or system transformation initiatives, enabling participation in large-scale change programs; 
• Experience operating and supporting production-grade application platforms, ensuring reliability and stability in live environments; 
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and deployment automation, enabling efficient and repeatable release processes; 
• Knowledge of application and integration architecture, enabling design of cohesive and interoperable systems; 
• Knowledge of observability logging monitoring and performance engineering, enabling proactive system management and optimization; 
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, enabling collaboration between development and operations teams; 
• Strong troubleshooting skills in application performance distributed systems and integrations, enabling effective issue resolution; 
• Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering security product and operations teams, ensuring alignment and delivery; 
• Strong ownership mindset with planning and execution discipline, ensuring accountability and successful delivery; 
• Effective communication and stakeholder influencing skills, enabling alignment across technical and business teams.

• Salary for work amounting to 150,000 – 160,000 PHP;
