We are looking for a Junior Manual QA for our French client, who deals with the production of various types of glasses as well as cooperation with opticians. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As Junior Manual QA you will be ensuring compliance with the organization’s Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards, maintaining a structured and consistent approach to testing;
- You will be gaining a solid understanding of various testing methodologies, including System, Integration, and Regression testing, and applying them appropriately depending on project requirements and testing objectives;
- You will be collaborating with your team to estimate testing efforts for small to medium-sized projects, contributing to planning activities and ensuring that testing timelines align with development schedules;
- You will be writing clear and detailed Test Cases and Test Scripts, and creating accurate Test Data to support the effective execution of testing scenarios;
- You will be executing assigned test cases and scripts, following predefined test plans and ensuring that the actual results match the expected system behavior;
- You will be identifying correct and incorrect system behaviors, documenting any inconsistencies or functional issues discovered during the testing phase;
- You will be replicating and reporting identified defects, providing sufficient detail for the development team to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently;
- You will be executing functional, application, and regression testing for software releases, ensuring that new and existing functionalities meet the defined requirements and quality standards;
- You will be preparing accurate and concise defect reports, clearly describing the issue, its impact, and steps to reproduce, contributing to transparent communication between QA and development teams;
- You will be collaborating effectively with peers and senior team members, ensuring smooth coordination, knowledge sharing, and adherence to company values and objectives;
- You will be supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team, contributing ideas to enhance testing efficiency, documentation practices, and overall product quality;
- You will be documenting and recording testing activities in ATLAS and escalating identified issues or process gaps to your supervisor when necessary;
- You will be performing validation checks to confirm compliance with established CMMI procedures, ensuring all testing activities align with organizational standards.
Requirement
- 1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, demonstrating foundational knowledge of testing processes and methodologies;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Experience in writing test cases and test scripts, ensuring clarity, traceability, and effective test execution;
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle, including both Waterfall and Agile models;
- Understanding of QA testing tools, different Test Design Techniques, and established QA standards and processes;
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying, replicating, and communicating software issues accurately;
- High attention to detail, ensuring precision in test documentation, defect reporting, and validation processes.

- Salary for work amounting to 20,000 – 25,000 PHP;
