Automation QA (Playwright)

Salary: 75,000 – 85,000 PHP

We are looking for an Automation QA Specialist for our French client, who specializes with the production of various types of glasses as well as cooperation with opticians. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As Automation QA you will be understanding and following the defined Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards, ensuring compliance with organizational processes and quality expectations; 
  • You will be understanding and applying various testing approaches such as System, Integration, and Regression testing, ensuring proper test coverage across different stages; 
  • You will be developing and enhancing existing automation strategies and processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization’s testing capabilities; 
  • You will be implementing and reviewing the design and development of automation testing solutions, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and effectiveness of test suites; 
  • You will be collaborating with the Manual QA team to identify and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring efficient transition from manual to automated testing;  
  • You will be implementing and monitoring automation processes while preparing status reports, ensuring visibility of progress and potential risks; 
  • You will be providing input on improvements to tools and the automation framework environment, supporting optimization and increased efficiency of testing processes; 
  • You will be conducting validations to ensure compliance with CMMI procedures, maintaining alignment with internal quality standards; 
  • You will be preparing and submitting required reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication of testing activities and results; 
  • You will be coordinating with application development and support teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and issue resolution; 
  • You will be expanding your knowledge of business processes and IT-related information, contributing to better understanding of the system under test. 

Requirement

  • 3+ years of experience in Automation Quality Assurance or testing, ensuring strong hands-on expertise in automated testing processes; 
  • 2+ years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance or testing, ensuring solid understanding of manual testing fundamentals; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Experience with Playwright, ensuring effective implementation of modern automation testing frameworks; 
  • Knowledge of different types of testing including white box and grey box testing, enabling proper test strategy selection and execution; 
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle MySQL SQL Server or MongoDB, enabling validation of data integrity and backend testing; 
  • Experience with creating Master Test Plans, ensuring structured and comprehensive test planning; 
  • Knowledge of Test Design Techniques QA methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle, enabling effective test case creation and execution; 
  • Knowledge of QA testing tools test design techniques standards and processes, ensuring adherence to best practices in testing; 
  • Experience in various system development environments, enabling adaptability to different project setups and workflows; 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced communication abilities, ensuring effective issue identification and collaboration. 

Nice to have

  • Exposure to business operations related to manufacturing distribution or financial operations, enabling better understanding of domain-specific processes. 

We Offer

  • Salary for work amounting to 75,000 – 85,000 PHP;
