Junior Application Analyst (Finance Industry)

Salary: 35,000 – 45,000 PHP

We are looking for an Application Analyst for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As Application Analyst you will be supporting users in resolving issues related to financial and reporting tools, ensuring timely assistance and continuity of business operations; 
  • You will be supporting monthly sales-related processes, validating data, following up on identified issues, and ensuring consistency across reporting outputs;  
  • You will be maintaining and updating master data such as customer, product, and pricing information, ensuring accuracy and data quality across systems;  
  • You will be investigating data inconsistencies and supporting their resolution, ensuring reliable and trustworthy business information;  
  • You will be collaborating with IT and data teams when deeper technical investigation is required, ensuring efficient issue resolution and escalation management;  
  • You will be supporting reporting activities and validating data consistency across multiple systems, helping maintain accuracy of business insights; 
  • You will be creating and maintaining documentation related to processes, issue resolutions, and operational activities, ensuring traceability and knowledge sharing; 
  • You will be supporting testing activities related to system changes and enhancements, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. 

Requirement

  • Experience in a related area or completion of a relevant internship, ensuring foundational knowledge of business systems, reporting, or data-related processes; 
  • Ability to work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Experience working with Excel and handling data, enabling effective data validation, analysis, and reporting support; 
  • Strong attention to detail and structured approach to work, ensuring accuracy and consistency across tasks and deliverables;  
  • Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders;   
  • Strong sense of ownership and reliability, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and followed through to resolution. 

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of finance or sales processes, enabling better support for business operations and reporting activities; 
  • Exposure to reporting or Business Intelligence solutions, enabling understanding of data-driven decision-making processes; 
  • Familiarity with Databricks, enabling exposure to modern data platform environments; 
  • Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects or SAP BW, enabling support for enterprise reporting and analytics solutions; 
  • Experience with SQL or data querying, enabling investigation and validation of data-related issues; 
  • Exposure to ERP systems or master data management processes, enabling understanding of enterprise data structures and governance. 

We Offer

  • Salary for work amounting to 35,000 – 45,000 PHP;
  • Monthly transportation allowance of ₱4,000;
  • ₱3,600 de minimis monthly non-taxable allowance;
