Salary: 20,000 – 25,000 PHP
We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As a Junior Backend Developer, you will be assisting in writing, testing, and debugging simple backend code based on clear technical specifications, helping deliver functional software components;
- You will be performing unit testing on basic code modules and reporting results and observations to senior developers for feedback and correction;
- You will be documenting your code logic, test results, and technical updates to support future maintenance and knowledge sharing;
- You will be supporting the development and implementation of small tasks within larger software projects, contributing to team progress and learning from real use cases;
- You will be collaborating with other team members to identify, track, and resolve minor software issues in a structured and guided environment;
- You will be actively participating in technical discussions, workshops, and training sessions to continuously build your programming knowledge and technical skill set.
Requirement
- Any hands-on experience in programming or software development – including internships, academic coursework, or personal projects – will be considered and valued;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Basic knowledge of the backend programming language – Java or .NET;
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, supporting basic collaboration and version tracking of code;
- A strong problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail, even when working on repetitive or entry-level tasks;
- Eagerness to learn and adopt best practices in clean code, testing, and documentation;
- Good communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively within a team and seek guidance when needed;
- Ability to perform repetitive or simple development and debugging tasks with accuracy and consistency;
- Capacity to manage low to moderate workloads independently, while meeting deadlines and quality expectations;
- Openness to working under close supervision and accepting constructive feedback to support your professional development.

- Salary for work amounting to 20,000 – 25,000 PHP;

- ₱3,600 de minimis monthly non-taxable allowance;
