Salary: 45,000 – 55,000 PHP
We are looking for a Manual Tester for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As Manual Tester you will be adhering to the defined Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization, ensuring consistency and quality in testing processes;
- You will be applying appropriate test design techniques when writing test cases, adapting your approach to each project’s requirements;
- You will be creating test plans and estimating test efforts for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring that timelines and resources align with project goals;
- You will be reviewing test cases and test scripts created by Junior Quality Analysts to maintain quality and accuracy in testing documentation;
- You will be writing test cases and test scripts and creating test data and Requirement Traceability Matrices for effective tracking of test coverage;
- You will be executing test cases or test scripts, verifying the system’s behavior, identifying defects, replicating them, and reporting findings to the development team;
- You will be testing and certifying software defect fixes and new functionality, validating that updates meet the requirements;
- You will be executing functional, application, and regression tests for each software release to ensure quality and reliability;
- You will be conducting audits to ensure compliance with CMMI procedures, verifying that testing aligns with organizational standards;
- You will be preparing and submitting reports on testing progress, results, and identified issues;
- You will be coordinating with other team members in application development and support to ensure cohesive project progress;
- You will be mentoring and guiding Junior Quality Analysts, supporting their growth and adherence to testing standards.
Requirement
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing, with a strong understanding of manual testing processes;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and test cases, ensuring traceability between requirements and testing coverage;
- Experience evaluating and testing new or modified software applications, ensuring that systems meet user requirements and internal guidelines;
- Experience validating system releases through Test Summary Reports or Acceptance Test Certificates, ensuring that delivered software meets agreed acceptance criteria;
- Ability to collaborate with Senior Quality Analysts during testing activities, applying functional knowledge to structured testing processes;
- Experience creating test documentation including test data, Requirement Traceability Matrices, Test Summary Reports, and Test Acceptance Certificates, ensuring structured and traceable QA documentation;
- Experience performing System, Integration, and Regression testing, ensuring stability of applications across releases;
- Experience reviewing test cases and scripts prepared by other Manual QAs, ensuring quality and consistency of testing documentation.

- Salary for work amounting to 45,000 – 55,000 PHP;
