Scrum Master

Country: Philippines | Work Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa

Salary: 100,000 – 120,000 PHP

We are looking for a Scrum Master for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. 

Responsibilities

  • As a Scrum Master you will be facilitating all core Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring each session is structured, timeboxed, and brings value to the team; 
  • You will be ensuring that Scrum events are productive, inclusive, and well-organized, helping teams stay aligned on goals, progress, and priorities; 
  • You will be coordinating communication between teams, escalating blockers, and facilitating the resolution of risks, issues, and scope changes across the development cycle;  
  • You will be coaching team members to embrace self-management and develop cross-functional skills, promoting autonomy and shared ownership of deliverables;  
  • You will be actively working to remove impediments that stand in the way of the team’s progress, particularly those between the Scrum Team and external stakeholders;  
  • You will be guiding the Scrum Team in refining Product Backlog items, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business value;  
  • You will be leading the organization’s ongoing adoption of Scrum by training, mentoring, and advocating for Agile values, principles, and frameworks across teams; 
  • You will be collaborating closely with Product Owners to clarify requirements, align on backlog priorities, and ensure that planned work is well understood; 
  • You will be staying current with Agile and technology trends, bringing in industry best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve delivery processes; 
  • You will be nurturing a team culture centered on excellence, openness, and transparency, encouraging collaboration, trust, and continuous feedback. 

Requirement

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role, preferably within software or cloud-based application teams; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Certified Scrum Master – CSM or equivalent – demonstrating a formal understanding of Scrum values, roles, and practices; 
  • Understanding of B2C platforms, e-commerce systems, or content management tools, enabling contextual support to development teams; 
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment processes across Agile environments;  
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and support high-performing teams through active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented guidance; 
  • Experience working with Agile tools, especially Azure DevOps or Jira, for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting; 
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, helping to resolve team blockers, anticipate risks, and adapt to change effectively;  
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical and non-technical details to diverse audiences. 

Nice to have

  • Previous hands-on experience in software development, allowing deeper technical understanding and team empathy; 
  • Prior experience in software testing, enabling a quality-focused mindset and collaboration with QA professionals.

  • Salary for work amounting to 100,000 – 120,000 PHP;
