Responsibilities

• As Wintel Architect you will be designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft Azure while supporting environments that integrate with AWS services, ensuring scalability and operational reliability; 
• You will be managing Azure services such as Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, App Services, AKS, Docker, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Azure Site Recovery, ensuring stable and secure cloud operations; 
• You will be developing and maintaining disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical systems, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime during incidents;

• You will be creating architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational guidelines, ensuring clarity of infrastructure design and operational procedures;  
• You will be leading and executing infrastructure lifecycle initiatives, including obsolescence management, platform upgrades, and migration projects; 
• You will be assessing existing infrastructure and applications for cloud readiness, developing migration roadmaps, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies; 
• You will be selecting and defining migration tools and methodologies, ensuring efficient and secure transition from legacy systems to cloud platforms; 
• You will be defining and implementing a unified hybrid infrastructure strategy, integrating on-premise services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Backup, Storage, and Networking with cloud environments; 
• You will be managing virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, vCenter, and VSAN, ensuring stable and optimized virtual infrastructure; 
• You will be designing and managing backup and disaster recovery architectures, ensuring data protection across both cloud and on-premise environments; 
• You will be integrating backup and DR strategies with infrastructure, security, and application layers, ensuring end-to-end resilience; 
• You will be ensuring that infrastructure solutions meet internal security and compliance standards, supporting secure operations across environments; 
• You will be implementing best practices for identity management, RBAC policies, and data protection, ensuring secure access control and governance. 

Requirement

• 10+ years of experience designing and managing Azure and AWS environments, ensuring strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, and infrastructure management; 
• 10+ years of experience managing Windows Server environments (2012–2022+), including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, clustering, storage infrastructure, DHCP, RDS, PKI, and IIS, ensuring strong expertise in Microsoft-based enterprise infrastructure; 
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
• Proven experience with VMware technologies such as ESXi, vCenter, and VSAN, enabling effective management of enterprise virtualization environments; 
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp and Pure, supporting scalable and high-performance storage infrastructures; 
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam and NetBackup, ensuring reliable data protection and recovery strategies; 
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Terraform, or Azure CLI, enabling infrastructure automation and configuration management; 
• Relevant certifications such as Azure/AWS Administrator or Architect, Microsoft MCSE or Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, or ITIL Foundation, demonstrating validated expertise in infrastructure and cloud platforms; 
• Experience with disaster recovery solutions in both cloud and on-premise environments, supporting business continuity and resilience planning; 
• Knowledge of container technologies and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, supporting modern cloud-native infrastructure architectures; 
• Basic Linux administration skills across distributions such as RHEL, Ubuntu, Fedora, or Debian, enabling support of mixed-platform environments. 

Nice to have

• Certifications in enterprise backup technologies such as Veeam or NetBackup, validating advanced expertise in data protection and backup architecture.
